Just like with meltas, lascannons can do too much damage and quantum shields love our high damage weapons. Lascannons are typically a good anti-tank option, unless you're fighting necrons. They're one of the better options if you get tagged. I'm not the biggest fan of Multi-meltas as they're to expensive for what they do.įlamers aren't a bad idea as they only went up 1 point. They're also not very optimal against necrons or horde armies. Multi-meltas are high risk high reward weapons as they only get 1 shot. Meltas are more expensive, but they will cut through anything without an invulnerable. I'm still taking them on executioners, but that's just so my plasma tank has plasma sponsons. Plasma cannons are blast weapons, so they're useless if you get tagged. Adding plasma sponsons is going to add 40 points to the cost of your tank. I don't think plasma cannons are still a good choice.
